SECURITY

During online payment, after providing the information requested when placing an order, the customer is redirected from the pre-payment page of the online store to the secure payment page of SimplePay, where the card details required for payment are required. WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR WHEN PAYING?

About paying by bank card

- For cardholders, online payment is free of charge, as is payment at a traditional POS terminal.

-Today, you can also pay online with your Maestro card. Please contact your issuing bank for details.

-Card issuers protect the interests of cardholders, so if you make a purchase with your card and the merchant does not deliver, you can lodge a complaint with your issuing bank and, if it is justified, you will get your money back.

-Cardholders are identified by a 3-digit verification code - also known as CVC2 or CVV2 - located in the signature panel of the card (the 3-digit verification code is found after the card number and its last four digits). Please treat this code with the same care as the PIN code.

Safety good advice

-You can increase security by requesting an SMS service from your bank, which will notify you immediately of any changes to your account.
-Please never give out your four-digit PIN code for cash withdrawals or purchases when paying online, and make sure that you do not give out your card number and expiry date to unauthorised persons.
-Always log out of the website after making a purchase or payment. This is particularly important if you are using a computer that is used by someone else. In order to protect your data, we recommend that you shop from your own computer and avoid public internet cafés and hotspots.
-Pay close attention when checking your data by e-mail, as it is becoming increasingly common in Western Europe and the United States for unauthorised persons to try to obtain data by e-mail.

-If you are asked to update your details - even by traders where you have already made a purchase - be careful, as unauthorised persons may be acting on the trader's behalf. In such cases, please contact the trader in the usual way to verify the sender.
-You may also be suspicious if you receive a letter about an offer that is too good, a prize draw or cancellation of a product you never ordered.
-Card companies do not contact cardholders directly by e-mail or telephone! If you receive an email or phone call from a card issuer informing you that your card details have been obtained by unauthorised persons, please do not give your details and contact your card issuer immediately.

Shopping on the internet

-One of the benefits of shopping online is that you can easily compare prices of similar products, so you can quickly and easily choose the best deal for you.
-Before placing an order, especially for the first time, please check the information about the online shop (how long it has been operating, how reliable the company is considered to be, whether the obligatory general contact details required by law are on the website, e.g. address, telephone number).
-To protect their customers, internet companies build a number of security features into their online shops. The security logos of the major card companies (e.g. MasterCard SecureCode) or other encryptions such as SSL codes on the website all indicate that the online merchant has taken the necessary steps to ensure secure online shopping.
-The encryption of communications is also indicated by the "https" in the URL and the padlock icon in the bottom right corner of the page or the key icon in the bottom left corner, which can be clicked to display security certificates.

-Every time you make a purchase, save or print out your order, your payment confirmation, the details you provided at the time of payment and the product information of the goods you ordered.
-It is recommended that you read the terms and conditions of the online shop when placing your order, as it is useful to know how long you have to file a complaint, under what conditions you can withdraw your order, and when and how you can get your money back if there are quality problems with the product or service you have ordered. Paying by bank transfer in SimplePay
-If you choose this payment method, the customer transfers the purchase directly to OTP Mobil Kft.
-Our system can only accept transfer orders in EUR.
-The customer selects the bank transfer payment option in the merchant's webshop, SimplePay sends the customer the details of the transfer by e-mail. The customer settles the debt by bank transfer in their own e-banking interface. Upon receipt of the payment, SimplePay immediately notifies the Merchant, who then fulfils the orde
